Practice Everywhere Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Code of Conduct
No harassment of any kind will be tolerated.
No discrimination of any kind of will be tolerated.
All host studio rules and requirements are to be upheld.
No breach of confidentiality will be tolerated.
Bullying, abuse of any kind, or purposeful exclusion of other trainees will not be tolerated. This includes anything written or shared on social media or email.
Attendance is mandatory for all sessions when timezones allow. Playback of previously recorded lectures may be permitted under special circumstances.
Student accepts responsibility for absences and understands that monies will not be refunded in the event that a trainee's absence does not qualify as an emergency.
In the event that a trainee violates these terms the course of action will be as following: conduct warning, single-session suspension from training with payment for missed hours at the expense of the trainee, dismissal from training. In the event that a student personally withdraws or violates terms that qualifies for dismissal from the program, the student understands and accepts that training fees will not be refunded.
To graduate and become certified from this program trainee must attend all sessions, complete all homework, pass a final exam with a passing grade, complete required hours, and receive a passing grade on their practicum. If a trainee fails to meet graduation requirements or drops out before finishing the course they are no eligible for a refund.
Participation in this course requires ability to tune-in to live to a virtual classroom via ZOOM. Trainees are required to have internet access, a laptop computer with camera and audio capabilities.
Trainee is responsible for paying all fees associated with the program prior to receiving certificate. Trainee is responsible to pay-in-full or enroll in payment program by the first day of training. Training fees are non-refundable. In the event that absences disqualify trainee from certification eligibility, or the trainee cannot finish training, training fees will not be refunded. If a trainee is dismissed from the program by the school or the host studio, training fees will be refunded.
Waiver of Liability
Submission of enrollment fees indicates an agreement o these policies releases Practice Everywhere, affiliated studios, and staff from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during training, practice or retreats organized and/or led by Practice Everywhere. Trainee agrees to hold Practice Everywhere and its affiliates entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence. Trainee/applicant also acknowledge the risks involved in yoga and fitness practice, teacher training or retreats. These include but are not limited to loss of property, injury or death. Trainee swear that they are participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, trainee does not have any conditions that will increase likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity. By indicating agreement in training application trainee forfeits all right to bring a suit against Practice Everywhere & affiliates for any reason. In return, trainee/applicant will receive yoga and fitness practice, teacher training and/or retreat. Trainee/applicant will also make every effort to obey safety precautions as listed in writing and as explained to me verbally. Trainee/applicant will ask for clarification when needed.
Practice Everywhere Teacher Training is a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance.
Summer 2020 Yoga Teacher Training is a virtual, live-classroom experience that is temporarily permitted for online participation due to COVID19.

Acknowledge the limitations of my scope of practice and where appropriate, refer students to seek alternative instruction, advice, treatment, or direction. Create and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the practice of yoga.
Encourage diversity actively by respecting all students regardless of age, physical limitations, race, creed, gender, ethnicity, religion affiliation, or sexual orientation. Respect the rights, dignity, and privacy of all students.
Avoid words and actions that constitute sexual harassment. Adhere to the traditional yoga principles as written in the Yamas and Niyamas.
Follow all local government and national laws that pertain to my yoga teaching and business.
